What is the Hui Yin?

print email
Modalities: Reiki
  • Pronounced Who Yin
  • The Hui Yin is an acupuncture point known as CV-1 located at the perineum between your anus (rectum) and your genitals (see diagram page 18)
  • The Hui Yin is also known as the root chakra
  • The Hui Yin position connects the energy channels from the root chakra (earth energy) of your body and closes the perineum to prevent energy from escaping your body
  • Contracting the Hui Yin allows energy (also called Ki, Chi, Prana, Huna, Ka) to flow through your energy channels in a complete circuit

Hi Sue:

Thank you for inquiry. Without knowing any background regarding your habits, daily routine, beliefs, sleep pattern, health, nutrition, personality, knowledge or training, this is a difficult question to answer.

There could be several factors involved surrounding your query.

(1) You may be classified as a “super-sensitive” to surrounding energies and can easily detect a build-up of energy in your Root or Sacral chakras. Try to avoid over-focusing on this and instead just observe and enjoy the experience.
(2) Although you are an energy healer, you didn’t indicate whether you are a new practitioner or if you are a “seasoned” one. In any case, it is very important to practice daily cleansing, grounding, protection, deep-breathing and meditation techniques. I cannot stress this enough!
(3) There could be imbalance amongst your chakras, in which there is an overflow of energy in one chakra with depletion in another. In this case, maintain a daily practice for applying your energy healing techniques to self in order to maintain balance amongst all chakras.
(4) As an energy healer it is possible to attract excess energy from clients; therefore be sure to disconnect your energy from your client upon completion of each healing session.
(5) Depending on your spiritual practice or how long you have been working to develop and raise your energy vibration and consciousness level, it is possible that you have activated Kundalini (Sanskrit word meaning circular power) energy in the base of your spine and are now experiencing its unleashed higher energy vibration. It is important to develop and to maintain balance in ALL chakras and not just those of preference. (E.g. Some people only focus on opening their 3rd Eye chakra and ignore their other chakras). However, ALL the chakras are inter-connected and work in tandem with each other.

I'm not sure if this answers your question, but at least it should give you food for thought.

Yes, I actively did a supervised intensive tm meditation and seminar, with a mantra. Not new to this. I am a Reiki Master Teacher, a certified meta-physician, Qi Gong healer and Ordained Spiritual healer. I had been actively seeking a change in my life and when the kundalini rose it was quite unexpected My third eye has pulsed and my hui yin at times in the past--but then after the classes I became literally orgasmic for 3 months. I learned to breath thru it and balance the entire body. My desired changes are coming about and am so happy you answered my questions, even without me telling you the whole of it! Yes, I feel I've opened wide thru out. I little intense but so nice. Even with a supportive circle around--it was "new" to many. Getting the proper guidance seemed challenging. I'm still doing it(pulsating)--but in a more balanced manner. I'm ok if I keep my spiritual practices up.
Thank you!
