American Cancer Society, Relay-for-Life Team Captain, As a volunteer coordinator for the American Cancer Society, I organized team recruitment for the Relay-for-Life in Lakewood and Golden Chapters. This included but not limited to finding and recruiting sponsors for the day of the event and building a long-term relationship with said sponsors, team development & recruitment, monthly newsletters, signage, and any other duties that they many request. In 2005 I was the spokes person for Relay for Life as wall as was an advocate. Fundraising LifeSpark Cancer Resources, Team Captain, As a volunteer for LifeSpark Cancer Resources, I assisted with the ASK campaign, this particular event took over a year to plan, securing venue, ask individuals to attend event, send out thank you cards, etc. 9 Health Fair, District Coordinator, Assisted in the recruitment and coordination of medical and non-medical personnel for the 9 Health Fair across the state. Participate in Metro Council meeting and disseminate information to site teams, assist site with planning, make on-site visits during 9 Health Fair to assure quality control, act as District Training Coordinator or assign designee, participate in monthly District meetings.
