A hoilday in Sri Lanka became a life-changing trip as I met an Amatsu practitioner, also on holiday there. I was a qualified life coach, but was looking for a modality which would allow me work with the body. Although I was intrigued by many complementary methods and had tried several as a client, I felt I needed to find a treatment with a strong scientific basis. And it turned out that this Japanese therapy that I had never heard of, had just that!
Amatsu combines a thorough understanding of anatomy and physiology with ancient Japanese principles of natural movement. This potent combination comes together into a highly effective treatment for injuries and pain of many types.
I have been working with Amatsu for 4 years now and I am still as inspired and excited by the possibilities of this therapy as when I discovered it in Sri Lanka! I work in a busy clinic in East Dulwich working with a huge range of clients from office workers to athletes suffering from conditions such as persistant back pain, joint pain and instability, whiplash and neck pain, sporting injuries, scoliosis and many more. Many of my clients continue to see me after a condition has been resolved as a way to keep their body balanced and pain-free.
