Inner Smile Yoga is rooted in health and the therapeutic aspects of yoga. I am committed to helping you find your personal well of inner strength and peace. As a Yoga Therapist and Reiki Master, I am sensitive to your needs and health issues. I have experience with a wide variety of health issues and offer private and group instruction, local workshops and retreats.

Teresa Owen has been studying yoga since 1997. Her teaching style reflects her experience as a longtime competitive athlete, healthcare advocate, event and group facilitator, wife, and mother of two. She weaves together her life experience, love of yoga and spiritual exploration, with an eye toward keeping her classes both accessible and challenging.

Her primary training is in the Iyengar style, including an eclectic mix of intensive work with Forrest Yoga, Vini Yoga and Yoga Therapy. Skilled in tracking the movement and grounding of energy, she is a Reiki Master and continues to expand her training in other forms of energy healing. She is currently a student of Shadow Yoga.
