My job is to help women be powerful and alive.
We women are the mothers of the universe. We are the holders and the creators of the sacred. But we forgot how powerful — how magnificent — we are.
How do we remember? By coming together in sisterhood. By luxuriating in our sensual selves. By finding our true voices. By taking back the joy in learning. And by being a powerful force in relationship.
We are women. This is our destiny.
I am here to shine light on Shazam Brilliance in women. When women start living their goddess selves, the world gets better. For all of us.
In 2008, I did the unthinkable — I left my children. That heartbreaking decision sparked within me a deep desire to take back my life, stop holding back, and to start living like I mean it. I sold everything I owned, moved 3000 miles away, and embarked on a deep healing journey.
Since then I faced cancer, healed my heart and body, found my soulmate, and trailblazed a worldwide movement to remaster what it is to be a woman and a mother. I worked through deep emotional issues common to many women – worthiness, conflict, anger, and trusting my heart. I broke my isolation and moved into community. I unleashed my inner voice, tore away the bonds that kept me shackled to outdated beliefs about women and mothers, and awakened my needs and desires. I transformed my life forever.

What style of Shamanic Healing do you practice?
Although my formal training is in the Celtic tradition of the Tuathe De, I incorporate elements of many shamanic traditions worldwide.
Why do you practice Shamanic Healing?
I find the metaphoric, symbolic world of shamanism incredibly effective for getting us out of our heads and into the expanded awareness of what is "out there" that most of us don't see or experience or even know exists. There truly is a "magical" world that most of us don't access unless through a doorway like shamanism.
Describe a typical Shamanic Healing session:
My Shazam! sessions are by distance only. Clients talk with me by phone or Skype for about 20 minutes, and together we establish an intention for the session to come. This might be healing of or clarity about a physical or emotional issue.
Then we hang up, and the client relaxes undisturbed for about 40 minutes while I perform the session. I send a lengthy email afterward describing what took place, what areas were healed, what I saw, animal allies who appeared, the exact healing process I used, any inutited information or messages, and practices and next steps to follow to support the healing.
During the session, people experience all sorts of things -- warmth, pressure, physical sensations, feeling they have fallen asleep, emotions, visions.
How long is a typical Shamanic Healing session?
About an hour.
How often do clients come for a Shamanic Healing session?
For most people, 3-4 sessions creates a significant shift in the issue they are looking to change. Many people experience immediate (one session) relief of physical or emotional pain that never returns.
How should someone prepare for a Shamanic Healing session?
Be open and willing to enter a magical world. In other words, expect the unexpected. :)
What would you tell anyone wondering if Shamanic Healing will help them?
Shamanic healing is an ancient practice, used successfully throughout human history. It connects us to the worlds of Spirit and of Earth and is a big part of our human heritage.
Do you integrate Shamanic Healing with other healing modalities?
Yes. I developed my own system of intuitive healing that incorporates elements of shamanic healing, energy healing (Reiki, MAP, meridian work), and DNA/soul purpose activation (The Reconnection) into one super-effective package called Shazam.
What are your most cherished experiences working with Shamanic Healing
What I love most is that ANYTHING is possible with this kind of healing. I have seen so many unexplainable, magical things...
A young man came to me after having experienced 5 years of deep soul pain that had zapped his energy, created conflict in his relationships, and had affected every aspect of his life. He had tried eerything and had basically given up on ever regaining what he had lost. In one session it was completely gone and he reported feeling himself again.
A woman's chronic shoulder pain disappeared in one session.
Another woman was experiencing loss and pain from grief... a few sessions and she felt empowered, hopeful, and ready again to take on her life and fulfill her life mission.
What is your philosophy of healing/treatment?
You are not broken.
You are not broken now, nor do I think you ever were broken. Because you are not broken, I don’t think anything I might do in my healing work with you is going to fix you.
I do, however, honor the possibility that you think you are broken and in need of fixing. That’s a common perception we have about ourselves. Blame society if you want, blame whomever, but a lot of us go around in life thinking there is something wrong with us and that we need fixing. So if you are one of those people, it’s okay. I won’t try to talk you out of your belief. We’ll just go with it.
So if you are not broken and don’t need fixing, what can I do for you?
...I can honor your belief that you are broken.
I promise I won’t try to change you. Usually that feels good to people. It’s a relief, not having to fight someone to make your deep-down beliefs acknowledged.
...I can love the parts of you that you think make you broken and in need of fixing.
Because honestly, that’s really all we want when we think we are broken – more love for those parts of us that we don’t think can be loved or should be loved. And often it’s just to hard for us to love those parts in ourselves – otherwise we would, you know? But I can love them in you. I am pretty sure you would do the same.
...I can help you feel more whole.
By loving the parts of you that you think make you broken, I help you find the way to heal and accept the parts of you that you think make you broken and in need of fixing – and have been pushing away. Most of the time, the pain we feel is from pushing away parts of us. When those parts are returned to us – through having been loved – we begin to feel more whole.
...I can help you feel less alone.
Often, the pain we feel and the sense we have that we are broken and in need of fixing is from thinking we are the only ones with our particular pains and lost parts. We forget that we are really living an ancient story that is played out over and over, and we forget our connection to hundreds of thousands of people walking around right now who feel much as we do. I help you remember. And you feel less alone.
...I can help you remember your bravery.
It feels good to believe we are unique and special, but it also feels like a huge relief to know that the burden of our particular brand of broekn-feeling that we carry inside ourselves is a burden actually shared by many. When you believe that I understand you and who you are deep down, you’ll remember your bravery and courage. You’ll feel more able to give more love to the parts of you that you’ve been thinking can’t be loved.
...I can help you remember there is always hope.
In ancient dark times, we turned to storytellers and mystics to help us see light where we could see none. I can be your beacon, your wayseer, and help you remember the hope that dwells inside you.
