All of us experience challenges at certain times in our lives - family tensions, work or relationship problems, loss and confusion. Sometimes, negative childhood experiences can have a long-term impact, leading to struggles with inner feelings such as emptiness, fragility and low self-esteem.
As a qualified, experienced Psychosynthesis Counsellor/Therapist, I offer a safe, caring and confidential space in which you have the support to explore whatever is challenging you. I have been in practice since 1977 and work with a range of issues including: anxiety, bereavement, depression, divorce, low self-esteem, mid-life crisis, relationship difficulties, recovery from abuse, stress and work issues.
I offer a form of counselling therapy known as psychosynthesis, which is a holistic way of working, embracing our mind, body and feelings. It includes the spiritual as an essential component of our psychological health. Through psychosynthesis counselling/therapy sessions, you are supported to discover your own inner wisdom. I use many powerful techniques including dreamwork, guided visualisation, role-play, drawing, and reflective conversations.
Sessions take place weekly and our work can be either short or long term.
As a registered member of the BACP and the United Kingdon Register of Counsellors and Psychotherapists, I adhere to their professional guidelines and code of ethics.
