    Occupation

    Classical Homeopath

I am a classical homeopathic consultant with over 20 years experience. I prefer low potencies in water for a slow and gentle stimulation of your vital force. I do not believe a homeopathic remedy should cause you an aggravation to indicate it is working. I do not use herbs or machines, just pure classical homepathy. I am available in person or via Skype.

What style of Homeopathy do you practice?

Classical Hahnemannian Homeopathy -generally I utilize small doses in water. I seldom give nosodes as I prefer giving remedies that also addresses the miasm.

    Describe a typical Homeopathy session:

The initial intake appointmenst generally last 2.5 hours, and I prefer to meet in person. Follow up visits can take place in person or over the phone or skype and last approximately 45 minutes.

How often do clients come for a Homeopathy session?

The first follow up appointment is via telephone within the first 3 days after taking a remedy. Ideally the followup schedule should match the progress of the patient. A successfully prescribed remedy may preclude the need for a followup, however, seeing a patient every 6 months would be ideal.

How should someone prepare for a Homeopathy session?

Being aware of your body and the conditions that make you feel better or worse is important.

Consider your individual symptoms. Do they occur at the same time of day or during a particular season? What action do you take that makes you feel better or worse?

Was there an event that occurred at the beginning of your illness? Consider your feelings at that time.

Explore your family's medical history so we can discuss it, and think about the types of illnesses you have had yourself over the years.

Remember that often we mitigate our symptoms through our actions and forget we have a symptom. i.e. someone who does not tolerate tight collars may never wear a tight collar and consequently forget that symptom or consider it unimportant to mention. Someone else may have a bad reaction to spicy foods or shell fish but neglect to mention it because they no longer eat them.

Don't dwell on these things and don't feel you have to make a list, just become aware in the days before your interview.

    How does Homeopathy work?

Homeopathy uses small doses of medicinal substances to gently stimulate your vital force to a healing response. We do this through the body's secondary reaction. I give a remedy that matches your symptoms and your body recognizes this intruder and fights against it. Since the symptoms the remedy creates matches your own symptoms, you experience a healing response. We are working with the body and not against it.

Allopathic medications create a chemical change and utilize the primary reaction of the medicine to stop your symptom. If the body creates a secondary reaction, you would be instructed by the physican to take more of the medicine to counteract your reaction. Allopathy is always fighting against the body's reaction.
