Spiritual poetry is not necessarily associated to religious verse. Rather it is an inspirational teaching shared through a spiritual melding of the author’s soul and the universal source. Spiritual poetry may express the universal values or truths in life or they may be an expression of love or they may simply offer direction or encouragement for positive change or inner spiritual growth. This may open an awareness to examine circumstances from a clearer perspective which may cause you to explore an idea more closely in order to find your own truth or path of enlightenment.
