Medical DITI is a non-invasive diagnostic technique that allows changes in skin surface temperature to be explored, looking for any abnormalities that could reflect internal medical problems. Medical DITI is a monitor of thermal abnormalities present in a number of diseases and physical injuries. It is used as:
* An aid for diagnosis and prognosis
* Therapy follow up and rehabilitation monitoring
* Defining the extent of a problem of which a diagnosis has previously been made
* Pinpointing the location on your body that is creating pain or discomfort
* Localising an abnormal area not previously identified, so further tests can be performed
* Detecting problems early on before they are clinically evident
* Monitoring your body’s status before you resume normal activity levels e.g. after surgery or illness
