Ashtanga Yoga

Popularized by K. Pattabhi Jois and often promoted as a modern day form of classical Indian Yoga. It involves synchronizing the breath with a progressive series of postures – a process producing intense internal heat and a profuse, putrefying sweat that detoxifies muscles and organs resulting in a light, strong body, a calm mind and reduced stress.

Mostly used by athletes and those wishing to increase strength and stamina quickly. To get the full effect and benefit make sure your muscles are warm and that the room is very warm too.
