Animal Therapies

Animal therapies all have a common purpose in mind - helping your favorite pet or your prized breed live a longer happier life.  These therapies have proved to be valuable in cases of injuries and diseases, old age ailments, promoting general good health, relief of tired and sore muscles, as well as correction of hereditary conditions and more.

For example, animal massage therapists are animal health professionals that use their knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and massage techniques to improve an animal’s physical well being. Animal massage therapists utilize hands-on massage techniques to relax muscles, stimulate circulation, and enhance range of motion in their four legged clients. Massage therapists develop and implement treatment plans based on the individual animal’s needs, and may work in conjunction with veterinarians.

Animal therapies are not limited to massage as there are a wide variety of other therapies including acupuncture, acupressure, animal communication, bowen for animals, chiropractic, craniosacral, hydrotherapy, reiki and shiatsu to name a few.
