Amatsu

Amatsu is a modern adaptation of an ancient Japanese hands-on therapy that can be administered to most musculo-skeletal problems for correction, pain management and rehabilitation. It also addresses the triad of stresses on the body - namely physical, emotional and nutritional factors. It has only be available to study outside of Japan since 1995. The purpose of Amatsu is to aid in the restoration of health. Amatsu has a 3,000 year documented history of effective tactile application. In the modern western world the Science of Biotensegrity offers the best explanation of the physical methodology of this approach. It’s methodology includes various skills including Anma (push, pull) massage, gentle joint realignment, visceral management and reciprocal cranial to sacrum balancing.
