Join us for this weekend intensive looking at some of the more relevant and important topics related to men's health and yoga as a tool for improving theirs lives. Dr. Baxter Bell will lead the weekend discussion with important health concerns for men. He will cover and answer questions about annual check-up, testosterone, aging and much more. These topics are important to understand in order to optimize healthy lifestyles for men. Dr. Bell will demonstrate and dive into the tools and techniques that Yoga can provide to care for men's health and the women who care for them.
Baxter Bell, MD, RYT 500 is co-director of Piedmont Yoga Studio's Deep Yoga program, as well as on faculty for numerous teacher training programs across the country. He blends his background in allopathic medicine, medical acupuncture and yoga to teach on experiential anatomy and kinesiology and yoga, and yoga therapeutics. In addition to his teaching, Baxter maintains a holistic medical practice with an emphasis on yoga therapeutics and medical acupuncture. Baxter has also been a contributing writer for Yoga Journal Magazine and the International Association of Yoga Therapy.
This weekend session is one of many weekend trainings offered in 2012 on specific topics, which are part of a Yoga Therapy Specialist training program. These weekend trainings are open and available as separate training modules for yoga teachers, qualified yoga students, and professionals for enhancing their knowledge and skills in specific areas.
