At Camp Bunny Head we cultivate a reverence for the natural world and an appreciation for the wonders of our bodies. Through yoga that is designed for kids, urban adventures that are designed for fun and our daily theme of Kindness we see there is a possibility to change the world. We come together as brilliant kids in the world and talk about what it means to be in our power -- helping one another, the planet and ourselves.

A few examples of excursions include: a trip to the farmers market to meet a farmer & purchase fruit and then make smoothies, hiking to Indian rock, visiting the Marine Mammal Center in Marin and go to Rodeo Beach nearby. Some of our creative crafts will include creating an action figure zip line, making medicine shields with a "power animal" that we've met in a drumming meditation and practicing random acts of kindness.

One week for boys only, one week for girls only and one week we mix it up. At Camp Bunny Head, we look deeply into our everyday urban lives and see that the natural world is with us at all times, -- a place where kids may connect, create and invigorate. . .and have fun doing it!

Taught by Jnana Gowan, Director of Powerhouse Education and creator of The Bunny Head Yoga Programs and Camps; and co-lead with Freesia Huth, teacher and dance specialist and Lance Akiyama, teacher and engineering specialist.
