Tai chi develops and/or recovers your physical potential regardless of your age. With gentle, beautiful and flowing movements, tai chi/qigong is truly poetry in motion. Feel and look better while making new friends as we unitify mind, body and spirit.
Learn the following:
Yang and Chen Tai Chi - cultivates the Chi energy, quiets the mind and relaxes the body.
Qigong and spiritual teachings--moving and standing mediation to stimulate/increase energy levels and Taoist, Buddhist and Zen teachings.
Individual attention and self pacing- Jason gives plenty of individual attention so you can advance at your own, comfortable pace.
Silk Reeling Exercises- regains range of motion of all joints utilizing spiraling movements. Great therapy for aches and pains.
The health benefits of tai chi- improving balance, muscle /bone strengthening, reducing stress, increasing metabolism and immune function, and stimulates brain plasticity (brainfunctioning/memory).
No experience necessary --beginners encouraged, all levels welcome.
Jason Chan currently teaches wellness classes at DeAnza and College of San Mateo and is a Certified Massage Therapist with over fifteen years experience specializing in chronic neck, shoulder and low back conditions.
