CrossFit Winnipeg is hosting The Pain Free Workshop on Wednesday, August 22nd, 2012.
Learn more about the basics of Posture Alignment Therapy, made famous by best selling author Pete Egoscue and taught at The Egoscue University.
The Pain Free Workshop is designed to teach you about the relationship between posture, pain and performance.
Postural therapy is ideal for Crossfitters and weekend warriors alike, as it stresses symmetry and equal distribution of strength in the body. By isolating muscle groups through core strength and balancing exercises, postural therapy awakens a person to imbalances and weaknesses and helps correct then strengthen them.
The Pain Free Workshop will highlight the difference between muscle sorness and injury/pain, the steps required to truly heal the body, and how to recognize the root cause of the problem versus the symptom.
We will demonstrate exercises (e-cises), answer questions, and discuss the different types of therapy paths available.
