From January 2012 a space has become available in Delcia McNeil’s Professional Consultative Support Group for Professional Healers & Bodywork/Complementary Therapists

• Would you like a confidential setting in which you can explore issues concerning professional boundaries, codes of practice, and case management?

• Would you like to receive regular advice, information and support around the practicalities of running a practice, such as getting clients, choosing premises, time management, setting fees and so on.

• Would you like help with the emotional issues that arise in the course of doing your therapy/healing work? 

• Would you like to build a strong, positive professional self esteem?

• Do you value on-going face to face networking, feedback and support from others in your field of work?

Delcia believes that in order for us to be effective for our clients we need to take our own physical, emotional and spiritual needs seriously.  In coming to a professional support/supervision group we can get the help and support to do our work well, and in the process build a good reputation and therefore, if we are self employed, a sound business.

This is a monthly group, meeting from 10am-12.15pm on a Monday morning in Muswell Hill, North London.  The cost is £35 per session and a termly commitment is required – that is January-April, May-July (an optional session takes place in August), September-December.  The group is limited to six participants.  Dates:

Delcia has been running professional supervision groups since 1989.  She is a UKCP registered psychotherapist and registered healer with the Association for Therapeutic Healers. She has taught massage to ITEC standard.  With her colleague, Kate Williams MacKenzie, she ran the Rowan School for Healing for ten years training healers to high professional standards.  Previous to that she taught spiritual healing, as well as holistic massage in adult education centres in London, including the City Lit.  Her initial career was in social work.   She is a published author – ‘Bodywork Therapies for Women’.  Apart from her supervision/mentoring group and one to one work she runs Chakra Psychology CPD courses and has a private psychotherapy and healing practice. Delcia is also an artist and runs Meditation and Painting workshops.
