Making Changes

Do you have things you would like to change or improve about your life? Perhaps you would like to communicate differently with someone, or have a healthier lifestyle by implementing a consistently better eating or exercise plan. Perhaps there are deeper concerns that you would like to change – like self - sabotaging patterns that keep you stuck. Can you think of one thing you'd like to change in your life?

I'd like to tell you about FIT because it has helped me significantly change core issues that have been holding me back. “FIT” stands for “Focused  Intention Technique” and it offers you an easy 11 step process to get to the limiting beliefs that keep you from moving forward in your life.

I went to the Basic FIT course in February 2012, and after the participants introduced themselves, Lorettta Mohl asked me to demo the FIT process in front of everyone. That was way out of my comfort zone, as I usually sit back, take notes, learn, absorb and observe everything. Something felt right about doing this, so I went through the FIT process with Loretta. My goal was to connect to happiness, because I have tended to be a very serious, quiet person all my life. At the end of the process, it seemed like a hard, invisible shell  inside me had cracked open, and was gone. I did not even really know that this shell was inside me, except that I knew I held myself back from getting too close to other people because I felt they would hurt me in some way. After I was done the FIT process, I actually felt happy inside! This was a major change for me and I have kept using FIT ever since. It has helped me release many emotional issues from my past. I feel happier, my heart feels more open and freer than ever before and I feel more empowered.

I'd like to tell you a bit of the history of FIT. Loretta Mohl and Katherine Bird wrote the book “Unlimited You”, which is about the FIT process. Loretta had a goal in life. She was searching for a better, easier, simpler way for people to release core issues and heal their lives.  Loretta learned many healing therapies and taught them. She also worked for many years helping people cope with and recover from major emotional changes or issues in their lives. She was constantly learning, adjusting and improving her methods. Eventually she perfected the FIT process and now focuses on empowering others by teaching FIT.

The FIT process is based on some key ideas. It is based on the idea that “God” (Source energy, Divine Creator) is everywhere and permeates everything. This energy is in us and available to us anytime. We can assess this energy, with its endless insights, wisdom, unconditional love and healing, by being in our heart center. If we go into our Heart centered consciousness plus use our inner focus and intention, we can assess our ability to heal ourselves.

This leads into the next important idea in FIT. Our bodies have their own innate wisdom and they have the ability to heal themselves. If you cut yourself, your body instantly gets working to heal the damaged tissue. When you are in your Heart's consciousness, and set intentions to change things in your life, your focus on your heart's consciousness can start the emotional healing process you need to heal the core issues in your life. The heart's electomagnetic field is 5000x greater than any other organ in the body. You can harness this energy to create the changes you want to see in your life now.

Do you ever ask yourself how you got these issues you want to change? As children we have many early life experiences that deeply affect us on an emotional level. We take all these experiences into ourselves and store them as decisions we live by. For example, at a very early point in life, a child could make a decision that they are not loved, because of the way they are treated. Then they live out
the  decision they made. Do you remember a traumatic event or a negative message you received about yourself as a young child?  Thinking about the event or message, what decisions did you make about yourself? Others?  and Your world?

As children we are totally dependent on the adults around us, and our decisions are totally based on our emotions, feelings and intuition we have at that time. Do you know someone who constantly chooses the wrong people to love, or someone who is very talented but can't see it because they have very low self-esteem? We can easily see other's issues and yet do not easily identify or see our own.

The decisions you made at a very young age develop into the limiting beliefs you hold about yourself now. The limiting beliefs turn into the core issues you live with for the rest of your life. The good news is that these limiting beliefs can be changed anytime you choose by using FIT!

The FIT process is set up in an easy, yet profound way. It starts with a goal, asking simple questions that spiral us down into our core issues so we can identify them. Then we discover what decisions we have made that no longer serve us, so we can release these decisions and their corresponding negative emotions. After this, we integrate the positive emotional qualities we need to heal the past, by using our focus, intentions, heart consciousness, and inner wisdom.

When we heal the past issues that keep us stuck, our whole energy system is positively affected, so we can notice healing changes on physical, mental and emotional levels. When healing takes place, it allows people to move forward in life with greater ease and happiness.

I have been working with the FIT process since February and I would highly recommend it. The FIT process is a wonderful healing process and is everything I was looking for to help myself and my client's heal emotionally. In my experience, FIT is “soul food”.

If you are motivated to change your life, here's some new options for you. You could have a private FIT session, order the book to read, or sign up to take the next FIT class. It's time to “Get FIT!”
