Frozen Shoulder & Acid Reflux

print email

In certain cases the symptom of a frozen shoulder has its cause elsewhere in the body and only after thorough assessment can a treatment plan be determined.

The following case study is an example of how Amatsu works as it is interested in the root cause of the problem. Eliminating the symptom would only kill the messenger and not bring about long lasting change.

A client came to see me about her frozen shoulder (limited shoulder movement) that she had been suffering from for 6 months. During thorough assessment I palpated that her liver was inhibited in its movement and after freeing it off  and some local mobility work around the shoulder full shoulder movement was restored.

The same client was suffering from acid reflux (heartburn) and had been told by her GP she would have to be on acid blockers for the rest of her life.

During the second treatment I did some visceral work around the pyloric sphincter and balanced the liver & stomach which stopped acid reflux, and her symptoms did not reoccur, hence the client did not have to take acid blockers anymore.

I was coaching a Big Stretch recently up in the mountains of Spain. This is a powerful week-long holiday/course in which we ask the participants to identify an area of their life where they want to stretch and take big steps forward. As we all know stretching out of your comfort zone is scary. And it should be! Any goal that is only exciting is too small and we will grow out it far too quickly. Any goal that is only scary is too big and we simply won’t go there. So the right kind of goal is the one that is both scary and exciting! So much for the theory, but what about the practise? ...

...no exact reason just because they feel they need this or a friend has gone through the process. Others more aware of energy, perhaps as healers themselves, know that this is necessary for their continued evolutionary path. To help individuals understand how these energies differ from others such as Reiki, I use the analogy of access to the internet through the AOL server. Years ago, as a customer, I began using AOL 3.0 to access information. Periodically, the customer is given the option of upgrading, currently from 7.0 to 8.0 What is the benefit of doing that? Upgrading allows one access to ...

Precaution – avoid sending distant healing when the other person is driving or operating machinery. If possible, establish a designated time for sending healing or set your intention that Reiki will be received at the appropriate time and for the highest good. What is Distant/Absentee Healing? It is a method to send healing energy, through time and space via the astral plane (energy level directly above the physical plane, (some call this “Summerland”), which consists of spiritual entities, telepathic energetic thought, elementals, fairies, etc.) to: Animal kingdom Plant ...

The Finale! - Completing Reiki Master/Teacher Level Original Three Level System Just for clarification…..in my Reiki curriculum, because I follow the original three-level system of Usui Shiki Ryoho (or Usui Style Healing), my Master/Teacher Level is considered the third and final level of Reiki. However, some teachers offer a four-tier system (or more); therefore, their set-up for the various levels and course material will slightly vary. By now you most likely completed Reiki Level 1 (Self-healing Level) and Reiki Level 2 (Practitioner’s Level) – wonderful, what an ...
