'On the Edge' is the first in 54 poems that were revealed as answers to questions about my life by using 'non-dominant hand writing therapy' that I found in a book called 'The Well Being Journal' by Dr. Lucia Capacchione (see below).
In order to utilize the modalities of Poetic Medicine and Spiritual Poetry properly, the original questions need to be posted along with the poem. At this time the original documents are unavailable due to the fact they're located deep within a file cabinet in a storage unit rendering them unaccessible for now.
That being said, the poems and illustrations are available to read online at: Charges, Inspirational Poetry - Living From Within and you can purchase the book for about $10.00 at Lulu.com. Also, these poems provide a powerful basis of knowledge and insight into the immense healing capabilities of the human soul, which provides the profound information for Life Might.
Comfortably on the edge
Or the brink
Of hope and helplessness
Like the centre of a wagon wheel
All roads lead home
And I'm looking for the shortest
Accomplishment...
So close it is in front of me
Staring at me
I am blind to it though
I feel that I should know
If only I knew
Yet if I did at this point
I would not be ready for it
Right now it is too big for me
It always feels like soon
So I sleep
Hoping it will come sooner
And still afraid
That I could be so happy
While leaving others
In their misery
So I feel guilty
Just thinking of the happiness.
