In the Silence of Spirit

Modalities: Spiritual Poetry

In the wee hours of the early morning dawn,
still bathed in darkness,
it is time to listen to the silence of Spirit's song.

But the veil between two worlds can separate one's plight,
attempting to join as one,
is easier before the dawn of light.

These peaceful moments are unbounded by distracting time,
and there is no need to hurry,
while blending body, spirit and mind.

For in the silence of Spirit, insights profusely grow,
and through a direct connection,
Spirit's energy abundantly flows.

But expectation to outcome creates resistance for all,
and this can be a downfall,
to unwittingly block Spirit's call.

Plus in the silence of Spirit, personal ego has no place,
it is not about strength or power,
nor is this a game or a race.

It's a chance to connect the soul back to its spiritual source,
and the most natural way to do this,
is in the silence of Spirit, of course.

For during quiet solitude, while the mind is humbly at peace,
higher wisdom and knowledge can flow,
without any reason to cease.

And in the silence of Spirit the soul has the option to learn,
to rise to a state of being,
filled with joyful loving concern.

How many times has it been said that Tao abides in the fasting mind? All the Scriptures, and all of the silent sages transmissions, point a finger to the mind of Tao. Like an archer who loses himself to the moment and dreams he is an arrow hitting a target, only to awaken and see his arrow embedded in the bullseye, after a shot he didn't know he took - this is the mind of Tao. Like the crystal clarity of a suspended raindrop, the sun shining through it. Every moment another perfection - this is the mind of Tao. To receive knowledge of events before they transpire, whilst never leaving the ...

In order to move forward along your soul’s ascended path, it is necessary to deconstruct your current existing life. But refusing to release past and outdated issues, or resisting to let go of accumulated material frivolity, sadly leads to being bound by tight bonds felt as inner strife. To deconstruct your life is by no means an easy feat, where old barriers must be broken and allowed to fall. The comfort zone of life is then re-addressed, so discomfort or fear are overridden by positive progress, that no longer threatens your soul’s existence or its lingering call. Striving for ...

To live in inspiration, first release control, just let life be and follow its natural flow. To live in inspiration, let go of time and constraints, release expectations, outcome or complaints. To live in inspiration, thoughts received through air, is inspired guidance, appearing from nowhere. To live in inspiration, is writing from your heart, interpreting the feelings your soul tries to impart. To live in inspiration, is to show compassion for all, and tolerance with love for crisis that befall. To live in inspiration, give unconditional love, that only comes through spirit, your connection  ...

If you first surrender to what may be, to energy forces, which you can’t see. Then through the heart you will receive, a light so bright that it’s hard to conceive. Once you surrender your trusting heart, you’ll be at peace and ready to start. Questions you asked many times before, will now be answered from within your core. But resist expectations for answers of “how,” just surrender completely…… just for now. And whatever happens, please trust and accept, that all your intentions will certainly be met. The universe generously supplies for all, ...

As I sit in the early dawn gazing at the beauty surrounding me, I stare in awe and wonderment of how this came to be. The horizon is now shrouded in a mass of blue-grey clouds, with stripes of red and pink shooting across throughout. Mt. Baker, in the distant haze, is silhouetted against the sky, with its snow-capped peak, majestically rising high. Small islands look like blobs scattered across the sea, with each one waiting patiently to greet whatever may be. A flock of geese flies over, honking their songs out loud, “Look up, look up, we are strong and oh, so very proud!” An ...
