The Mind of Tao

print email
Modalities: Spiritual Poetry

How many times has it been said that Tao abides in the fasting mind?

All the Scriptures, and all of the silent sages transmissions, point a finger to the mind of Tao. Like an archer who loses himself to the moment and dreams he is an arrow hitting a target, only to awaken and see his arrow embedded in the bullseye, after a shot he didn't know he took

- this is the mind of Tao.

Like the crystal clarity of a suspended raindrop, the sun shining through it. Every moment another perfection

- this is the mind of Tao.

To receive knowledge of events before they transpire, whilst never leaving the present

- this is the mind of Tao.

Absolute salvation from delusion in a single moment; the mystics dream

- this is the mind of Tao.

Spontaneous surrender to the totality of yourself, seeing as if born for the first time

- this is the mind of Tao.

Submerged in a lake of liquid bliss; floating in warm, golden mist

- this is the mind of Tao.

Alone but never alone, existing in communion with the totality of creation

- this is the mind of Tao.

Humble before the awesome majesty of it all, riding the wings of the wind

- this is the mind of Tao.
