Love Overcomes the Deception of Guilt

print email
Modalities: Channelers, Spiritual Intelligence

If you have seen the movie "Matrix," you have seen one of the great depictions ever of the distorted view of reality we mortals have of our material existence. The movie demonstrates, with unique visual effects, dramatic action scenes and imaginative dialog, the task we have in sorting out truth from fiction in our everyday life. Stepping through the portal and seeing with eyes to see, we begin to understand what has been taught to us in the past is a web of deceit. The veil that separates us from universe reality is, indeed, a matrix of deception. An intellectual fraud.

The deception hits us hardest right where we live. One example is the feeling of "guilt." A much wiser and older Professor* friend, says, "So many of you carry around a burden of guilt and this self-righteous burden is a heavy weight that disallows your full freedom in sonship. Guilt is something you have assumed. You have taken it upon yourself. You have consciously allowed yourself to be less than you can be. Why is that? It is because of expectations. And ideals. And your inability to live up to your own ideals. And so you have guilt, and you carry this burden of guilt as if it were a cross to bear, heavy beams that are truly no more than a mote in your eye of perception.

*Tomas, from his lessons in the Melchizedek Schools, transmission by Gerdean

"Understand that you are accustomed to feeling guilt. It is a part of your culture. It is a deep part of your religious heritage. And your parental influence and social influence. Even in your relationships with your peers today. It will require enlightened honesty to get past guilt.

"If you have had (and who of you has not?) an opportunity to say of another who has wronged you or who has been accused of a wrong, "Father, forgive him, he knows not what he does." And understanding the true depth of that perception, can you not also turn that view toward yourself and say, "Father, forgive me, I know not what I do"? For if you knew, if you truly knew, you would be prompted to act upon your light of truth....

Release guilt, that you carry for yourself and release it from the shoulders of your brethren. It is no longer necessary that you shelter one another beneath that yoke. It has been lifted by the Light.

Rejoice in the Light." With that advice, we may not be able to suspend speeding bullets in mid-air (the Hollywood version) but we might be able to stop those feelings of guilt in midstride.

Like all things worthwhile it will take training and practice to perfect our skills in our new reality, but as the old Professor explains, we're supported by infinite love in our new reality. "Our Father is love. Even though he is intelligence and energy and order and design, ad infinitum, it is also and unerringly true that God is love, and when you seek for God you seek for that which will round you out and allow you to know perfection.

Seek love now, in your own heart, in your own being, in your own awareness, in your own universe, in your own frame of reference, in your own relationships, animate and inanimate, spiritual, mortal or personal. And when you have come to an impasse where you can no longer identify the need for love, pray that you be shown another door, another avenue, another passage of the incredible love that will feed you, entertain you, delight you, nourish you, stimulate you, encourage you, challenge you and fulfil you for worlds to come." Imagine an entire universe that operates on "love." I'd call that a "matrix" buster...the world's best kept secret, so it would seem. If I can learn to perceive "love" in place of all those unrealities my material environment presents, I can rid myself of things like guilt and false expectations. Tomorrow doesn't seem soon enough but the Professor reminds me, "It is good that you do not overmuch look to your future or weigh your future in terms of your past, but allow yourself to be in the time wherein you find yourself. From this instant of being, you are at once in a center of reality which, at its ideal, is in a heart of God, a citadel of the spirit, a safe, happy place along the journey from the moment before to the moment incoming.

"What a tender, loving, merciful, caring and thoughtful universe it is. For all its power and dynamics, it teaches you gently, if you open yourself to its unfolding. Resist not."
