Reiki Has No End

print email

After spending 3 days being re-attuned with one of the worlds most recognized Reiki Masters William Lee Rand, I am left once again feeling the healing effects of the gorgeous peaceful white Light of Reiki.
I felt relief hearing William say that the path of a Reiki Master never comes to completion or to a point where we are finally healed or have accomplishment enlightenment. After all, this was my third initiation into being a Reiki Master. Reiki is a continuous process that only gets more involved and stronger as we progress with it. The further we go on the Reiki path, the more we are prompted to do the work on ourselves and keep ourselves in check.
Observing William Rand was more than receiving two wonderful healing attunements and soaking up his knowledge of Reiki and the metaphysical world, it was also inspiring to witness his personal healing work he has done for himself. I chuckled to myself every time William responded to a student's question with a firm but pleasant "no". He held his class together with boundaries for his personal integrity without dominance. Now there is a strong third chakra at work!
Somehow in the world of new age learning, I believed subconsciously that in order to be spiritual, you have to be nice, and in order to be nice, you have to allow people to do things that they want to do. What I learned from being with William is how to say "no" to people when you mean "no" while being nice at the same time. What a concept!
Saying no with a smile on your face and pure love can be the most healing and loving thing we can do for ourselves and others when it is in line with our true self and not used for power.
Inspired by Reiki once again, I am convinced that Reiki has no end. It flows through our lives and brings us to higher vibrations of love and healing. It keeps us continuously growing and healing, requiring more of us as we progress.
Thank you William and all those who dedicate their lives to Reiki.
