Everyone Sells---Even You!

Modalities: Practice Building

If we are in business and we don't sell, we don't make money!

No matter how much you try to ignore that fact it's still blindly truthful.

Whether you own your own business or you work for someone else--You simply must sell!

In either case your paycheck (and the size of it) depends on whether you and the people in your organization sell you work for sell anything or not!

No matter what you do for money in this society it requires you to "SELL."

This week I've been listening to a tape series on Selling by Mark MaCormick. On the tapes, he sums up what is necessary to make more money selling your products or services pretty well. He says all that is required to sell more, be more successful and make more money is to...

1) Identify your best potential customers

2) To reach them and

3) To persuade them to buy.

This is all there is to it.

So, where are your best customers?

How is the best way to reach them?

And what kind of offer or information about what you sell would persuade your potential customers to buy or buy more often?

If you want to know if your advertising message will be strong enough to make more sales-- then all you need to do is ask yourself one simple question. The question is, "would this motivate me to buy what I am offering?" Chances are, If you answer this question openly and honestly about your own product, service and /or advertising then this would almost be the only market research you'd ever need.

Everyone sells!

Even the person that answers the telephone in your business  is constantly being judged from your customers as to the quality of service you provide. In fact, the person that answers the phone could very well be the most important person in the organization because they are the first person your customers come in contact with.

If you want to make your business as successful as possible make sure everyone knows that they are "selling" all the time whether they think they are or not.
