Another year has come and gone and many may have drifted along without focus, wondering what happened instead of celebrating a year of growth and accomplishment.
This year perhaps instead of creating a New Years resolution that may end up in a drawer and forgotten, consider taking a different approach with a fresh perspective. Perhaps we can view our “resolutions” as focused intentions powered by feeling.
When we identify what we are choosing to create and connect with that change on an emotional level we have a better chance of creating change in our reality. It can be quite typical to reach for something new based on a resistance to those things, experiences and feelings that we no longer want in our life. It can be a completely different experience when we are able to focus on what we want from a place of empowered emotional intention.
Everything that we value and hold dear to us has some sort of underlying emotional story. When we take a deeper look at the emotional story of that which we would like to create in our realities we have a much better chance of attracting it into our lives.
What exactly does that mean? And how do we figure that out? Well, let’s take a look at an example.
Let’s have a look at attracting more money into our reality.
The first step is to isolate how money makes you feel. Does it make you feel powerful? Or perhaps stable? Secure? Maybe it makes you feel free! That’s how it makes me feel, FREE! Well, you get the point. Money creates different feelings in different people. When we isolate the feeling that we have attached to money we can move on to creating that feeling in our emotional body. Let’s take my example of how having extreme amounts of money creates a feeling of freedom for me. If I wanted to create the feeling of freedom in my emotional body, I would start to remember all of the events and experiences in my reality that created that same sense of freedom. As I continue to hold that feeling within my emotional body allowing it to build, a vortex of freedom energy is created and is expanding out into the universe and like a magnet attracts to it more experiences that create that feeling of freedom. As I continue to experience that feeling of freedom, events will then line up for me that will catalyze financial opportunities that amplify that same sense of freedom.
When we learn to focus on what we wish to create from a place of gratitude and appreciation as well as the emotional charge that we get from it we will definitely notice our “resolutions” becoming realistic experiences instead of forgotten ideas collecting dust in a dark drawer.
So, as you focus on your tomorrows, perhaps reflect on all that you have to be grateful for and have a little daydream of what really brings you joy and fills your heart with love.
