Heart disease is the #1 killer in America. It is estimated that 42 million American women are living with cardiovascular disease, but too many are unaware of the threat they face. More women than men die of this disease each year. This is no ordinary post today, the subject touches me on a very deep level. I am writing this article for two of the most beautiful women in my life: my mother and my grandmother. They both have heart disease but thankfully they are still alive and fighting, this is my blessing. If you find that others may benefit from reading this article don’t hold it to yourself pass it on and remember that disease has no age.
Are you listening to your heart?
I want to encourage you to start listening to your body. If you experience any new symptoms of shortness of breath, unexplained dizziness, nausea, fatigue, or left arm symptoms of pain or numbness, you should seek immediate care at the closest Emergency Room. The longer care is delayed, the greater your chances are for complications and even death.
Introduce your heart to Hawthorn
This may surprise you but clinical trials support the use of the herb hawthorn as a treatment for heart failure. The benefits of hawthorn are numerous: It has the ability to reduce blood pressure, improve shortness of breath, reduce fatigue, dilate blood vessels, improve blood flow and increase heart rate. It is very high in antioxidants which is what makes it a great choice for cardiovascular function. To know rather or not the herb is working for you, always allow at least 2 months before ending the therapy.
Don’t forget to work it!
Exercise is one of the greatest things that you can do for your heart. Not only does it strengthen your most precious muscle but it also makes you look great in the process. I know you are saying I don’t have time for any type of continuously moderate aerobic exercise. It’s okay you can space out your physical fitness routine in little increments throughout the day. Start Moving and don’t Stop!
….Stay BEAUTIFUL AND HEALTHY
