Am I choosing from divinity or am I choosing from humanity?
This question carries with it the powers to shift your entire life. Asking, “Am I choosing from my divinity or am I choosing from my humanity?” can lift you out of smallness of your individual reality and deliver you to a place where you have the poser and the wisdom to transcend any circumstance or human struggle. When you ask this question, you immediately get the shift from a conditional life based on reacting to the world around you to the eternal, secure foundation of a life grounded in divine truth.
Divine consciousness and human consciousness coexist within each of us. Most people are unaware that although we are human, we have access to higher levels of consciousness at every moment of our lives. We access these higher levels of conscious like we do in Theta Healing, we open up to divine experience that alters the way we see our lives and the lives of others. When we are looking from a divine perspective, we intuitively know the actions to take that will benefit others as well as ourselves. And is common occurrence to have and see miracle after miracle.
Am I choosing from divinity or am I choosing from humanity?
What making my decision from humanity looks like:
- Coming from the perspective of humanity means we are driven from survival and fear.
- Struggle
- Manipulation and control in order to get what we think will bring us happiness.
- Our human selves crave acknowledgement and want to take credit for what we create in our lives.
- Our human selves clings to strategies and agendas because it doesn’t feel safe enough to place trust in the divine order of life.
- When we make choices from this perspective we end up feeling powerless, depressed, and exhausted.
- Coming from the perspective of our divinity means that we consciously access the highest place within ourselves, others, and the world.
- Being present to the choices we make each day.
What making my decisions from divinity looks like:
You know you are guided by your divinity when:
- You are in constant awe of your life
- You feel connected
- You feel safe
- You trust that you will receive all that you need and all that you desire. In other words you have faith.
It is important to know that our humanity is not wrong, in fact it is beautiful. In order to live our full potential we must make peace with our human selves, for only then are we able to surrender our lives to the divine.
Our human self is the keeper of many of our gifts, but it is also filled with limitations, excuses, and self serving agenda. Asking the right question gives us a choice about which aspect of ourselves we will allow to direct the course of our lives.
Consider the choices you have made over the past few years and ask yourself whether the choices were made from a place of your humanity or from a place of your divinity. Every choice we make has its source either in the lower selves of humanity or our higher selves our divinity.
Vast majority of people are making choices from a place of fear, out of reaction from the past and were without consideration for the greater contribution. This is natural instinct to survive and if we are not reminded and vigilant in our daily practice we will fall back in to automatic programming.
Personal Exercise:
Which action would you take if your divinity was guiding you rather than your humanity? Imagine you are standing at the doorway to your most magnificent life. You are a divine being who has the power to create magic in your life and the lives of others. I want you to imagine your biggest heart desire and that anything is possible.
Now, make a list.
Sample list of a few things I have on my list:
- I would wake up in the morning and take ten minutes to meditate and connect with the creator.
- I would take five minutes and read my vision and goals each morning and make necessary changes and updates.
- I would take 15 minutes at the end of each day to focus on my accomplishments and appreciations.
- I would do yoga each morning.
And so on…..list everything that your hearts desires so you get deeply rooted in your heart.
Divine is unlimited, it operates beyond human limits. When we allow ourselves to tap into the divine , when we make choices to reach for guidance and power that is beyond our own individual selves, what comes is greater than anything we, with out human limitations, could ever possibly have created. Whether is a new business, a new career path, a relationships, or a matter of parenting , when we step allow ourselves to step out of our smaller selves, greater things result.
Our daily inspiration and responses, our 2012 visions, our intentions, goal setting, are all part of programming our body and mind how to tap in the divine being we all our and how to love our human selves completely.
