Feng Shui - An Introduction

print email
Modalities: Feng Shui
Conditions: self development, enhancing relationships

Good Feng Shui is to live in harmony with your environment, and by doing so, it promotes success in life, health, wealth and happiness.

'The best way to predict the future … is to create it.'

If you keep doing what you've always done, you will keep getting what you've always gotten. Something has to change, and with Feng Shui, you have the opportunity to begin to relate to the outer world simply as if it were a reflection of your inner psyche.

Your space reveals much more about you than you might like to think!

This system is not just about how to rearrange your furniture, but tells you how to change your life. That is what Feng Shui is really all about. It is a remarkable system for self-development and a practical tool for enhancing business and relationships. 'To Feng Shui' really means 'to harmonise, bring into balance, organise in a natural pattern.' It should not carry any mystical superstitions with it. The practice of Feng Shui enables you to create environments suitable for their intended activity. It empowers you to correct existing imbalances in order to improve your life. It is important to focus as much on what is not there as on what is there.

Instinct, feeling and clarity, the three forces constantly at work with each individual, are the precise source of the inherent wisdom that created the cosmological philosophies of all ancient cultures.

This body of knowledge, known as Feng Shui, is extracted from ancient Chinese wisdom-from the same code that make up DNA and the computer binary system. Linked with the Unifying Principle, at rhythms and patterns over which we have no control - it is at the very heart of an understanding of life and integrates the vital system on which all of us must depend: our environment.

Does Feng Shui work?

Heaven, Earth and Mankind make up the trinity of luck.

First there is Heaven luck - with which one is born. This is beyond our control. Destiny and fate are shaped from one's birth and this is why so many cultures have divination methods based on birth charts to read ones fate and destiny.

Secondly, there is Earth luck - which is within our control. Earth luck is the luck that comes from our environment and this gets strengthened when the Feng Shui is good. Feng Shui is a vital part of the circumstances that we find ourselves in, for it addresses that part of our destiny over which we can exercise control. Feng Shui luck brings opportunities, improves chances of success and creates harmonious relationships.

"The people who get on in this world are the people who get up and look for the circumstances they want, and if they can't find them, make them." George Bernard Shaw

Last but equally important, is Mankind luck, and again, this is something within our control. Mankind luck is the luck you create for yourself. Even good Feng Shui can be squandered without good old-fashioned hard work, a positive attitude and a determined outlook!
