The Lunar Chinese New Year festivities have begun and we are welcoming The year of the Dragon. A Dragon year one in which there is great possibility. We have the opportunity to do more perhaps than we could have ever imagined. The Chinese proverb "Better to do it than to miss it" describes this coming year and we are called to take bold and decisive action. Dragons are quick so don't take too much time or you may miss amazing opportunities.
It is important to remember that great change usually requires some sort of catalyst. In this yang water year there may also be tremendous upheaval. This may present itself both in politics and business, as well as on our lovely planet. We will be called to bring our compassion and our sense of unity to the forefront and to use the power of our intention to allow this mighty change to be in alignment with our highest aspirations.
If you are in opposition to the dragon, those who are born in the year of the Dog in particular, make friends with someone who is a rooster, or wear a rooster charm this year. If you experience health issues related to kidney, urinary tract, or heart, this is a year to pay particular attention to your health.
Your thoughts and your actions this year have the ability to make a real difference in this time of great change, and while this year may not be one of peaceful quietude, it is guaranteed to be one of interest.
Gong Hee Fat Choy! Happy New Year!
